 Our Vision

Providing a safe environment where people in crisis may have respite from their situation, by finding refuge and help at Chris's House. After 1-off assistance from Chris's House we encourage individuals to take advantage of the therapies available in our Hub.

Our Environment:

Our move to a larger building in the heart of Wishaw will aid our vision to outreach and integrate with the community. We have upgraded the property  to ensure a safe, functional and tranquil internal space to deliver our service. We have also opened up our facility for us by other therapeutic community services that fit with our ethos of improving community emotional resilience.

We Have:

  • The living room which includes a general administration/ reception and hub area with disabled access.

  • A therapeutic  patio/garden area.

  • A small kitchen area.

  • A family room.

  • 3 individual counselling/therapy rooms.

  • A peer group/meeting/training room.

  • A larger meeting room, conference and training room.

We have Policies and procedures in place that ensure we meet our responsibilities to our guests, each other, our funders and the wider community. These include Health and Safety Policies and a range of risk assessments in place governed by the health and safety legislation.
